Memorial Weekend

Evelyn got a chance to swing all by herself! She never put her foot down, so it's in quite a few pictures! :) I don't mind....I love those little toes!

Before having dinner with our friends the Alexanders and the Harkreaders, we dipped in the pool. This was Evelyn's first time in the swimming pool and she loved it! Her little legs we kicking and she loved splashing with her hands. I have a feeling we'll be spending a lot of time in the water this summer!


Here it is: the much requested Faux-hawk. Daddy was able to fashion this 'do while applying sunscreen!

1/2 birthday

I can't believe it! Our little girl is officially 1/2 a year old! Six months have flown by and we have an adorable little girl to prove it! :) She's not sitting up on her own yet, but she likes to be sitting up with the help of anything. Her laugh just melts my heart and her blue eyes are just stunning! Here are some amateur photos taken by yours truly to mark the big day!

Trip to Texas

We had a Mother's Day lunch at my parent's house. Grandma and Papa made the drive up from Burnet to spend the afternoon with their great-grandchildren.

This weekend we traveled down to Humpa and Yaya's house to attend a wedding shower. The shower was in honor of Shaun's cousin, Jenny, who will be getting married this June. Even though the skies were cloudy, it turned out to be a fun party! :)
